When you come to your first visit, Dr. Jacobs will have you complete a health questionaire, and the proper forms.  Upon reviewing those items, and answering any questions you may have, he will perform a thorough evaluation, then proceed with treatment or order further testing, such as an x-ray.

 The first visit takes anywhere from 30-90 minutes depending on the complexity of your case. Follow-up visits are usually 15-60 minutes.

During your  visit, Dr. Jacobs will have to visualize the painful area, so if you are being seen for a hip or leg condition it is best to wear shorts. If you are female and being seen for a neck, upper back, or shoulder complaint, it is best to wear a sports bra. You will not be asked to undress.
